Slick Shoes has a new release coming out Tuesday, July 8th!
It's called Far From Nowhere
Here's a couple good ideas:
**Okay, if you are far from somewhere, you have to walk to get somewhere right? And seeing as their name is Slick Shoes, we think it would be pretty spiffy to buy some cheap shoelaces and put this on it with a sharpie:
pass 'em out to whoever you see with shoes on and say somethin smart like "hey, heres some shoelaces for those "slick shoes" you're wearin" *wink* lol Leave 'em at shoe stores for people to take too!
**Dollar stores are quite possibly the best invention known to man. They sell bubble gum packs for like what? a dollar? Buy a ton of those and then pick up some sticky labels and write on them : Slick Shoes "FAR FROM NOWHERE" the new album out 07*08*03 www.slickshoes.net and stick the labels over where it says "doublemint" or whatever the brand on the pack of gum is and pass out the packs to people, leave them on tabels in restaurants, in gas stations, etc. Don't you hate when you get gum on your shoes?
**Print out the promo flyer above and take it to record stores, hot topic, gadzooks, journeys, and anywhere else you know where kids who would like slick shoes hang out for all to see. Be sure to ask before hanging it up. Say something like "This is for thier new record coming out this Tuesday, can you put it up somewhere where people can see it please?"
